French observatory of biliary atresia

Who are we ?

The French Observatory of Biliary Atresia was created by doctors (surgeons, paediatricians, radiologist, epidemiologist) involved in the treatment of children with biliary atresia in France.
The French Observatory of Biliary Atresia welcomes everyone who is interested in biliary atresia (professionals, patients and families).

 

What are our aims ?

The aims of the French Observatory of Biliary Atresia are to promote education and research on biliary atresia and associated conditions.

 

How do we work ?

The French Observatory of Biliary Atresia is a non-governmental organisation, which was officially registered in France on 15^th December 2001. The statutes are available on this website.
Everyone who is interested in joining the Observatory is invited to contact us. Annual fees are 10 Euros.
We work on a voluntary basis. Financially, the OFAVB relies on research grants and donations.
