Severe genodermatoses are a public health issue
in the Mediterranean basin and in the countries of the Middle-East.

In the countries of the North of the Mediterranean, it falls within a new public health priority: the rare diseases one.

In every country, severe genodermatoses falls within major public health concerns: handicap, cancer and chronic diseases.
